BENEFITS OF MEDITATION  &  SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

The willpower increases, the power to reject and renounce increases
Senses become sharper and their passive activity controllable
Reflexive reactions to sensory perceptions can be prevented
The self-observation deepens and expands to other objects of observation in the being
The external observation deepens and one can enumerate or reproduce everything that has been seen
The enlightening observation of the surroundings brings about an understanding of the meaning and purpose of what is seen
The inherent materialism begins to crumble, the disinterest in the allure of the world sets in
In women, periods become less painful, shorter, or stop altogether
Correct understanding of a situation unfolds (Karma Yoga)

You feel more and more comfortable alone (with yourself).
Silence and inner restraint protects against negative reactions from fellow human beings
Direct contact with animalistic-materialistic people becomes uncomfortable
The prayer "may all living beings be happy" becomes a need and a way of life
Criticism and detection of deficiencies in other individuals cease
Fast, hasty judgments stop, waiting and objective recognition begins
The motionlessness during practice sets in and causes insensitivity to extremes
Living faith begins to develop
It's getting lighter inside
The tenets and profound scriptures are better and better understood
The ability to "take hold of the body" begins to unfold
The all-surpassing happiness overlays the stimuli of this world
Experiences for a quick entry into the concentration arise
Anyone who can concentrate properly and create deep, inner peace is "always on vacation"
Even wild animals lose their fear of you
The "inner non-clinging" deepens the concentration
The inner workings become the primary factor. the outer life becomes secondary.
Alertness increases (1st level "Genius" is attainable)
The enthusiasm for the spiritual increases and becomes a constant need "the Jordan flows upwards"
